According to several sources, a verbal agreement between the Edmonton Oilers and forward Evander Kane is in place.
The agreement will be in effect until the end of the season, worth $750,000 in salary and $625,000 in bonuses, or approximately $2.1 million on the payroll. A no-movement clause will also be included in the contract.
The controversial forward will wear number 91 with his new team.
He might even be in the Oilers' lineup this Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens.
