Extremely rare scene involving Martin St-Louis live from the Bell Centre and Leafs fans should be jealous
We often take him for granted, but occasionally we are reminded of how lucky we are to have Martin St-Louis as the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens.
See especially the scene captured by Arpon Basu this morning:
Let's just say we wouldn't see John Tortorella doing that with a player.
It's really beautiful to see. We see that Martin gives a lot, and it must be so instructive for a young player like Jake Evans.
These are details, but they make a huge difference in the end for the players of the Canadiens.
It's not for nothing that young players like Kirby Dach, Alex Newhook, and Juraj Slafkovsky seem to be developing and progressing so well under the guidance of Martin St-Louis.
He must now teach them how to better protect themselves and get injured less on the ice, if it's possible to do so. Martin was excellent at avoiding injuries, despite his small size.
Imagine how much teams like the Toronto Maple Leafs or the Ottawa Senators would pay to have a Martin St-Louis as coach and to show his tricks to their star players.
