The man who is a former Habs defenseman and now Montreal's player development coach, Francis Bouillon, was recently a guest on Jeremy Rainville's 98.5 Sports.
He was asked about some very interesting issues, including the identity of the CH's top prospect and the most surprising prospect.
As for the organization's #1 prospect, Bouillon has no doubt:
As reported by our colleagues at Marqueur.com, the Montreal Canadiens' player development coach believes that D-man Kaiden Guhle is the organization's top prospect.
"Kaiden Guhle is incredible" - Bouillon
He goes on to admit that he was downright gobsmacked by Guhle's remarkable performance in the recent WHL playoffs.
Guhle, 20, drafted 16th overall in 2020, had 15 points in 18 games (7 goals) in the playoffs this year. Beyond the numbers, he is simply dominant.
As for Francis Bouillon's greatest revelation among CH prospects, he names Arber Xhekaj. A D-man who was never drafted, but who has just signed an entry-level contract with the Habs.
He reminds us of Ben Chiarot.
