The NHL has suspended Toronto Maple Leafs forward Jason Spezza for six games for his dangerous hit on Winnipeg Jets' Neal Pionk.

However, according to information from Darren Dreger, the 38-year-old veteran could appeal his suspension. Remember that the suspension would deprive him of $21,000 in salary.
