The Pittsburgh Penguins have extended the contract of veteran Jeff Carter for two years, worth $3.125 million per season.
Carter, 37 years old, has experienced a renaissance with the Penguins, who has accumulated a total of 37 points, including 21 goals, in 50 games since his arrival in Pittsburgh.
He was acquired last year by Ron Hextall with a conditional third-round pick in 2022 and a conditional fourth-round pick in 2023. Solid acquisition so far, WOW!
