On 98.5 FM this noon on the Amateurs de sports, Benoit Brunet suggested a typical player to complete the duo of Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.
He stated that he likes Josh Anderson, but...
"Anderson is capable of doing the job. But I'm not convinced he's still able to figure out what Suzuki can do on the ice." - Benoit Brunet
He hit the nail on the head with his player choice.
"A guy like Evander Kane - I'm talking to you about the player, not the person - him, he's the perfect prototype for me. I'm not saying go get him, you know what I mean, it's the type of player, not the person.
"A prototypical power winger, able to adjust to a McDavid or a Draisaitl, we need a guy like that because Suzuki plays good hockey, but you have to be able to keep up with him too. And Caufield, he's not the one who's going to win one-on-one fights. When he gets there first with speed, he's going to be able to create things." - Benoit Brunet Do you agree with him?
