Tonight, the Habs will know which top-3 pick they will select in the next NHL draft, which will be held in Montreal in July.

However, they also have another first round pick, the Calgary Flames, who will be one to watch.

This pick should be 29th overall and at best 27th.

Which player could the Habs draft at that spot?

The HABSolutely Fan website has put together a top-6.

Here's the list:

#1: Ivan Miroshnichenko

Suffering from Hodgkin's Lymphoma (HL), Miroshnichenko appears at the top of the rankings among many recruiters, regardless. However, Elite Prospects is certain he will exit at #30. He is now 11th among international skaters in the recruiting center's new list.

#2: Jack Hughes

Would drafting the general manager's son be a good idea? Not sure. He had 7 goals and 9 assists for 16 points in 39 games with Northeastern University this season

#3: Tristan Luneau

The 6'2 174 lb defenseman had 12 goals and 31 assists for 43 points in 63 games with the Gatineau Olympiques in 2021-22.

#4: Nathan Gaucher

I had the opportunity to watch Gaucher play with the Remparts and he's quite a guy. At 6'3 207 lbs, the center has 57 points in 66 games this season.

#5: Lian Bichsel

The 6'5 216 lb. defenseman hails from Wolfwil, Switzerland. With his stature, he is considered a nice project by many scouts.

#6: Maveric Lamoureux

Another giant! 6'7 196 lbs for Lamoureux. He has scored 24 points in 54 games this season with the Drummondville Voltigeurs. Bob McKenzie has him ranked 28th in his rankings.

What would be your choice?
