Following the major trade between the Calgary Flames and the Florida Panthers, many fans had to wait before getting their new Jonathan Huberdeau jerseys.
We now have the answer that many were waiting for.
The new Flames forward, Huberdeau, has just made a decision for the upcoming season.
He has finally decided to give up his number 11 to Mikael Backlund, a veteran of more than a decade with the Flames, who has worn that number since the very beginning.
So even though he had the option, Huberdeau is leaving the number 11 to Backlund and he will wear the number 10.
Jonathan Huberdeau will wear the number 10 jersey with the Calgary Flames.
