As you can certainly see, there are many rumors and speculations about the famous 2022 NHL Draft, which will be held in Montreal.
Many of these rumours concern the Montreal Canadiens and, in order to shed some light on some of these issues, general manager Kent Hughes agreed to answer a few questions publicly.
In particular, he answered "THE" question.
New Jersey reporter Ryan Novozinsky chatted with Hughes on the phone and reported this:
He asked him the infamous "Slafkovsky or Wright?" question, and this is Kent Hughes' answer:
"To be perfectly honest with you, we have no idea yet."
The CH GM then adds that his recruiting team (and himself) continue to watch hours and hours of video, every day, on each of the two players, because they absolutely don't want to be wrong.
Interesting!
According to many, the DG's answer seems to clearly remove Logan Cooley from the equation, but well, you be the judge.
Is it now a two man battle?
