It's no surprise, of course, but they're finally turning the page on their life in Montreal.
The Petrys sold their home for $2.61 million.
According to the information reported by TVASports.ca, it is a couple from Montreal who bought the former home of the Montreal Canadiens defenseman.
Moreover, interestingly, Jeff and Julie Petry had bought their house for $2.55 million in April 2021. So they sold at a profit.
To see the page of their real estate developer, Kaufman Group, responsible for the sale, it is here:
Let's remember of course that Petry's family had decided to move back to Michigan last year, mainly because of the restrictive measures that were in effect in Quebec. He was alone in Montreal.
Afterwards, the situation got worse and as you know, it led to a trade request from Petry, and he was finally traded to an American team, as he wanted, last summer.
Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced that he had traded defenseman Jeff Petry and forward Ryan Poehling to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for Quebec defenseman Mike Matheson and a fourth round pick in 2023.
On Monday, Petry made his return to the Bell Centre, and his Penguins lost to the Habs.
