Jeff Petry refuses to talk to the media after Habs practice

In the last few minutes (and still at the time of this writing) various Canadiens players, in addition to head coach Martin St-Louis, are on the podium for the traditionals post-training media availabilities.
There have been several questions regarding the future of certain players in Montreal. In particular, Brendan Gallagher responded and approached the matter with great sincerity:
"Gallagher on prospect of a trade: It's hard for me to imagine not being in Montreal; it's the only home I've known. BG added how mentally tough this year has been but sounded a committed tone to staying: You hope you're not waiting around 4-5 seasons to turn this around.» - John Lu
Ben Chiarot will also answer questions.
What about Jeff Petry? Reporters were surprised to learn that he refused to come to the podium to give his comments. It's almost unheard of.
So don't wait for Petry's answers, there won't be any. On the other hand, Brendan Gallagher spoke with an open heart:
