I too often hear Montreal Canadiens supporters complain about Jonathan Drouin. The fans focus on his flaws and the fact that he doesn't score many goals. But in fact, who is Jonathan Drouin?
The first thing to understand is that Drouin is not a player who gets involved in traffic. So even if you keep calling him back, it won't change anything.
Then, the fact of asking Jonathan Drouin to score more goals, isn't logical since he is to be considered as an outstanding passer. Despite everything, he has six goals on the clock this year, good for third on his team in this regard.
Here are some statistics submitted by Simon-Olivier Lorange, earlier Monday morning, via Twitter:
In short, he has 14 assists so far, which allows him to sit second in the team, behind Nick Suzuki, who has eight more games on the clock than Jo Drouin.
All in all, number 92 is still a very good player!
