It was a very lively third period Tuesday night in the Dallas Stars-Montreal Canadiens game. The Canadiens won the game, courtesy of Samuel Montembeault. This is VERY positive!
Jamie Benn, Josh Anderson and Jonathan Drouin were all ejected from the game. What really stood out was Jonathan Drouin's cross-check on Tyler Seguin on the opening faceoff.
The Quebecer is likely to receive an additional penalty from the NHL for this vicious act against the Stars forward.
Some journalists are even talking about a possible suspension. We are talking about a game or two. One thing is certain, this gesture was unnecessary and dangerous on the part of Drouin.
