With the catastrophic start to the season, Marc Bergevin, who gave a speech to his players yesterday, has to think about moving. He needs to start another "reset" process, according to some analysts, including Dan Kramer.
According to him, the Habs need to sell and need to do it right. Last year's core of Shea Weber, Carey Price, Corey Perry and Phillip Danault gave us a spectacular run, but that one is gone.
It's all about starting over. Let's build a core with Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki and Josh Anderson, and then for the rest, let's put it on display. At least that's what Kramer suggests.
So Kramer's list of untouchables contains Caufield and Suzuki, unequivocally. He adds Josh Anderson to those two, who seems to be one of his favorites. A trio that Marc Bergevin must build around, that's a given.
But at the moment, Marc Bergevin doesn't seem to be in that state of mind. He's still in denial, which could push him towards the exit door at the end of the season!
To be continued, as the other guy would say!
