The kid who was drafted in the first round by the Montreal Canadiens in 2020, Kaiden Guhle, clearly did not come here as a spectator. The left-handed defenseman came here to turn heads and make tough decisions for the Montreal organization.
The 19-year-old is not only a good hockey player, he is a very serious individual in his approach. Some reporters continue to be impressed by the presence of the Prince Albert Raiders' property in the WHL.
The comparison we hear most about Guhle is with Habs captain Shea Weber. Marc-Andre Perreault drew an interesting parallel between the two men. According to him, they have the same tone of voice.
It's no secret that Guhle has a natural leadership aura about him, just like the Canadiens' number 6. I have a feeling that they will continue to be compared, considering that they play the same style of game on the ice, with a few differences.
