Kent Hughes has just signed a defensemen to the Canadiens organization

In the last few minutes, wearing his Laval Rocket General Manager hat, Kent Hughes has signed a contract with Quebec defensemen Olivier Galipeau.
"The Rocket agrees on the terms of a one-way, one-season contract with Olivier Galipeau." - Laval Rocket
Great news for him and a good decision by the general manager!
Galipeau, 26, is a 6-foot / 203-pound left-handed defender who scored 9 points in 45 games last season with the Laval Rocket. (15 points in 19 games with the Trois-Rivières Lions)
He has just taken a major step in his career.
