In the last few seconds, the Montreal Canadiens organization made a great announcement regarding goalie Jake Allen:
"Jake Allen is the recipient of the Molson Cup for the month of December!
Allen was named first star on two occasions (Dec. 1 in Calgary and Dec. 12 vs. Calgary), second star once (Dec. 6 in Seattle) and third star once (Dec. 21 in Colorado). He beat out teammate Cole Caufield.
In 11 games in December, the 32-year-old goaltender posted a 3-7-1 record, posting a 3.45 goals-against average and .899 save percentage. Allen notably set a season-high with 46 saves in a 2-1 win on Dec. 1 at Calgary." - Montreal Canadiens Allen, who will be in net tonight against the New York Rangers at the Bell Centre, will be honored before the game.
Do you think Kent Hughes should take the opportunity to trade Jake Allen?
His value on the trade market is very high right now, according to Michel Therrien.
