Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl face questions from the media after their team's every loss, and it can be irritating. They are human, after all.
One of the two cornerstones of the Edmonton Oilers, Leon Draisaitl, had a pretty gripping spat with reporter Jim Matheson who has been covering the team for ages.
The discussion went like this:
JM: "What do you think is the number one reason for these losses? Is there anything in your own mind that makes you say 'we need to improve in that'?"
LD: "Yes, we have to be better at everything."
JM: "Do you want to expand on that?"
LD: "No! You can do it, you know everything."
JM: "Why are you so pissy, Leon?"
LD: "I'm not, I'm just answering your question."
JM: "That's not a good answer."
LD: "Okay!"
JM: "I have another one for you, Leon. You showed your frustration in the last game against Ottawa. Is it a good thing to show the other team that you are frustrated?"
LD: "Yeah, it's a good thing, for sure."

Just imagine if this kind of thing happened in Montreal...
Yes, it's entertaining, admittedly, but it's not very good for the team's image.
The reporter may have been clumsy with his questions, but as much as I love Draisaitl, #29 had to keep his cool as the team's poster boy and leader. It's the least we can do to face the music when there are storms...
This isn't the first time Draisaitl has had run-ins with the media. Does it seem that some people are less patient than others?
