It's been a bit overlooked because there are so many players and youngsters to analyze, but forward Jonathan Drouin only played two short exhibition games.
That worries his former teammate, Mathieu Perreault.
"If he doesn't play the next game, he might be in trouble. We may have to get a guy in the lineup eventually.
It might be a little concerning on his end. I hope he gets another game to make his case. Two games out of seven, it's not much," Perreault mentioned on TVA Sports' "La poche bleue le midi."
He added that Drouin intrigues him and that he would like to see him play the next game, especially to show what he can do on the power play. With major announcements to come from the Habs before the season starts, Drouin will be one to watch:
"I don't remember seeing him on the ice that much throughout camp." - Mathieu Perreault

An interesting statement from the former Montreal Canadiens forward, who was in the same locker room as Drouin until recently.
For your part, do you think Drouin is in trouble? Could he be at risk of losing his job?
One thing is certain, big decisions will be announced soon and forwards will have to be cut.
