In a press conference in the last seconds after the morning practice of his team in Brossard, the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Martin St-Louis, once again answered many questions from the journalists, one of which particularly caught our attention.
It concerns the following file and the possible plan with Arber Xhekaj, Johnatan Kovacevic and company:
A major development for Arber Xhekaj today.
Just asked about his plan (to manage his young defensemen) with the imminent return of Mike Matheson, see what St. Louis had to say:
"You've got to handle the traffic at the blue line with Mike coming in, do you have a plan yet that you can share on what you feel like doing."
Head Coach's Response:
"No, I don't really have a plan to share. I haven't been confirmed that Matheson can play tomorrow. When we get the green light with him, we'll handle things." - Martin St. Louis
St-Louis went on to praise Matheson, but in short, everything really points to him being in uniform tomorrow.
Martin didn't confirm anything about Xhekaj, but with the observations from today's practice, absolutely everything points to The Sheriff being out of the lineup.
Stay tuned tomorrow!
