While Jeff Petry and Ben Chiarot are at the top of the list of players most likely to leave the Montreal Canadiens by March 21, other players in the organization are also attracting the attention of other teams. This is the case of veterans Tyler Toffoli and Josh Anderson.
During an intermission of Sunday's game between Montreal and the Sabres, Eric Engels was kind enough to reveal the informations he had concerning the situation of these two players. From what we understand, to acquire the two forwards, the interested teams will have to be very convincing and pay the big price...
The Montreal Canadiens absolutely does not need to completely trade of all its assets. The club will need good veterans, such as Anderson and Toffoli, to surround and lead the young team that Montreal will have over the next few years. Not to mention that the two veterans really seem to be part of the solution in Montreal, so why get rid of them at all costs?
