The OHL has announced the reinstatement of defenseman Logan Mailloux to the league. He was suspended indefinitely on September 2 for a sexual misconduct incident that occurred in 2020 in Sweden.
The Habs first round pick in 2021 will have missed the London Knights' first 26 games in 2021-2022.
Since being suspended, Mailloux has been in therapy and counseling with Dr. Lindsey Forbes and has participated in a personal development plan with Wendy Glover. Wendy Glover is a professional in athlete personality development.
Mailloux would have done whatever it took to consistently adhere to these supports. The young man has received a huge outpouring of support from his team, the London Knights.
It remains to be seen what direction the new Habs staff will take in this matter.
