Sunday night, the Chicago Blackhawks were hosting the Minnesota Wild. If this game wasn't exciting at first, a few good moments changed the game, including this wonderful goal from Andreas Athanasiou. Fleury had no chance!
Earlier in the game, it was the Quebec goalie who stole the show against his former teammate and Hawks captain, Jonathan Toews. Fleury stole a sure goal as the veteran unleashed a sharp shot from the slot. If the save was one to watch, so was Toews' reaction. Toews approached the goalie and gave his former countryman a friendly bump.
It then continued in the shootout after Flower stopped both Kane and Toews:
The kind of reaction that is worth its weight in gold and that shows the respect that players have for each other, even if they are now opponents!
