Much to the delight of Martin McGuire and Dany Dubé, who congratulated Martin St-Louis for doing so, the Montreal Canadiens head coach showed his frustration at a press conference.
He did not hesitate to denounce the fact that there are too many passengers and he said he was frustrated with the performance of his team in the first period.
We weren't ready at all. The rest of the game was pointless."
"We had too many passengers tonight, especially going away. We're not good enough as a team to have passengers. That's what we got."
"Nobody likes to lose. But when you give it your all and lose, you're able to swallow it."
"It's unacceptable our first half. I'm embarrassed."
- Martin St. Louis
