Journalist Mathias Brunet gave an update on the Tricolore's prospects yesterday. In particular, he gave an update on the Habs' most recent first pick, Logan Mailloux.
Mailloux has not seen any action since the beginning of the 2021-2022 campaign due to the suspension he received for committing sexual misconducts. He will be back in action after the holidays.
Meanwhile, Mailloux is preparing for his return to action with the London Knights. Rob Ramage attended an Ontario game with Logan Mailloux.
He provided an intriguing update, which may reassure many:

Like everyone else, I'm looking forward to seeing how Mailloux performs. The hockey potential is there, there's no doubt about it. However, the young man will have to constantly walk on eggshells, especially in a market like the Montreal Canadiens. He will be under the microscope, so his margin for error will not be huge...
