Claude Julien's assistant coach at the next IIHF World Hockey Championship, André Tourigny, was asked by Mario Langlois on 98.5 FM if it was worth it for a player like Nick Suzuki to participate in this tournament.
See his answer:
"These opportunities don't grow on trees there! When is the next time Nick Suzuki will have the opportunity to win anywhere in the National League...anywhere? To win there? Really there. Don't make the playoffs there. Winning. It doesn't happen often." -André Tourigny
The answer is pretty clear. The ball is in Suzuki's court.
