In anticipation of another exciting matchup between the Sens and the Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa journalist Shawn Simpson issued a warning to the Sens regarding Arber Xhekaj and other CH players such as Josh Anderson.

See his message:

"The Canadiens have played very hard and physical with Stutzle, with several unnecessary cheap shots, in every game they've played each other since he entered the league. A much stronger message needs to be sent quickly (to CH players, especially those who touch Stutzle)."

Obviously, the message makes fans react, while it seems here clearly aimed at Xhekaj and Anderson.

However, do the Sens have the ammunition to "send a stronger message" to Xhekaj? That is the question.

Let's mention here that Simpson has already published some very good words for Xhekaj, and he seems to appreciate the youngster's work, but clearly, he would love to see him WITH the Sens, rather than AGAINST the Sens and with the Montreal Canadiens.

It sets the table for the next duel anyway, and it proves (once again) how much Xhekaj is already disturbing, even before his first career NHL game. It has to be done!

Speaking of disrupting and setting the table, let's remember this:

So expect the Sens players to try to disrupt and get a message to Xhekaj, but we wish them luck! It remains to be confirmed if he will be in the lineup today, but in any case, this appointment could come very quickly.
