It is everyone's opinion that Cayden Primeau must leave the current toxic environment of the Montreal Canadiens in order to return to Laval. With the Rocket, he would find himself in a healthy environment and he would see much more ice than in Montreal.
Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes do not want to do so, indicating that Primeau remains the only current option to assist Samuel Montembeault. Yes and no. The Canadiens has 48 contracts awarded on a possibility of 50, so we want to be careful... But a 49th contract for Kevin Poulin is a possibility, isn't it?
Poulin is an experienced goalkeeper, 31 years old, who has enjoyed a lot of success with the Laval Rocket since Primeau went to the top. He stands up like a wall, he's got stuff, and then, as Anthony Marcotte wisely pointed out, he's standing up like the fourth star of the team this year.
Poulin does not have an «NHL» contract, but wouldn't this be the time to reach an agreement and bring him with the CH to place Primeau in Laval?
We're just talking here...
