The excellent TVA Sports journalist Anthony Martineau has just published an extremely interesting article, in which he shares exclusive information.

«According to my information, the Habs would strongly consider drafting the second most productive defender in the entire Canadian Hockey League next July. In addition to being extremely talented, he is from Quebec and... works like a jam. - @Antho_Martineau

Indeed, he thus reveals one of the Habs' big targets for the next draft. It is rare that we have this kind of information, but it is the case here.

Miguel Tourigny would really be in the crosshairs of the Canadians, who hopes to draft him in the next NHL entry draft.

Miguel Tourigny is from Victoriaville, he is 5 feet 8 tall and 20 years old. He amassed an impressive total of 59 points (including 23 goals!), in just 44 games this season in the QMJHL, with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada and the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. All this, at his 19th year.

See what young Tourigny's agent had to say, as reported by Anthony Martineau:

«Canadians have shown great interest so far. The club contacts us on a regular basis, asks us several questions and asks us for several complete follow-ups. Honestly, I really wouldn't be surprised if Miguel were drafted by Montreal. [...] As soon as Martin Lapointe had more responsibilities a few months ago, he contacted us and said to us: "listen, I know how we managed your file in the past, but we are now starting over "I want you to know that Miguel Tourigny is really in our sights. We like his confidence and his temerity with the puck. Right now, and I'm telling you frankly, Montreal is clearly among the most active teams when it comes to Miguel." q>
