On this final night of 2021, Alexander Ovechkin made history.
Number 8 became the all-time leading power play scorer in NHL history with his 23rd goal of the season. He now has 275 career goals on the massive offense.
What a shot!
The Capitals captain will now go after Wayne Gretzky's record of 894 goals. He currently has 754. Can he catch up to number 99? You wouldn't bet against Ovi.
