The rumors that send Patrick Roy to the Canadiens will not stop circulating just like that. They circulate as much since the Tricolore is mired in a thick mud since the opening of the calendar.

Despite this catastrophic sequence, Marc Bergevin seems rather calm, as he doesn't really know what the future holds. Speaking of quiet, Patrick Roy's agent, Neil Glasberg, said the phone for his client isn't ringing much right now.

"It's quiet right now. There's nothing wrong with it. It's only a quarter of the season done!"

Glasberg also took the opportunity to point out that the alleged meeting between Roy and Geoff Molson was bullshit.

"As long as the Habs are going to play like this, there will be rumours. I can tell you one thing: it's nonsense, it's false. There has been no meeting or conversation. The team has a lot of problems and the absence of Carey Price is one of them, but it's not the only one. If in February the Habs are still in this position, maybe Geoff Molson will call me, but so far I've never talked to him about Roy!"

He never talked about Roy, but did he talk about Jim Rutherford, one of his clients who would be a good fit for the CH? Maybe so, but he doesn't speak French...

In short, when things go wrong, it's true that the rumor game becomes "easy", even too easy, sometimes!
