The National Hockey League is definitely going through some very difficult times these days. As COVID-19 hits the circuit stronger than ever, many games continue to be postponed and it is increasingly difficult to see what the NHL will do to stop the bleeding.

Just a few hours after the announcement of the postponement of ten more games, including nine involving Canadian teams, it was the turn of player agent Allan Walsh to add his voice to the debate, he who completely picked up the management of Gary Bettman in the current situation.

"It feels like the NHL is frantically sticking gum into every hole in a canoe that flows to keep it afloat. It is obvious that there is no plan, but only instinctive reactions to the latest news. It cost the players their presence at the Olympics, while Gary smiles like a Cheshire cat about it," Walsh wrote.

Ouch! Let us say that he did not mince his words. He is probably also referring to Brad Marchand, who also did not hesitate to express his dissatisfaction with the absence of the NHL players at the Olympics.

In short, the Bettman circuit is in a storm. It will therefore be interesting to see how its leaders react, as more and more influential names come out publicly to oppose the measures put in place by the league.
