In the last few hours, a major piece of information started to circulate concerning the Montreal Canadiens' young forward, Juraj Slafkovsky, to the effect that his rookie tournament would be over.
It could have been because of a minor injury, it could have been to preserve him for the CH's main camp, but in any case, please note that journalist Renaud Lavoie (TVA Sports) just published an article in which he mentions this:
"The players who did not play in Friday's game, Juraj Slafkovsky, Jan Mysak, Justin Barron and Arber Xhekaj will be in Sunday's game. Players who are more likely to be invited to training camp next week will play two of the three games in the rookie tournament. At least that's the plan." - Renaud Lavoie In order not to distort the words, or misinterpret them, we put the full passage, but clearly, the TVA Sports tipster is suggesting that Slafkovsky will be in Sunday's game, or at least "that's the plan".
We are talking about an article that was published this Friday night, at 9:55 pm. So we have two conflicting pieces of information floating around.
So it's a matter to follow, and we will certainly have the answer in the next few hours.
