As we reported yesterday evening, we witnessed a truly frightening and disturbing scene involving Montreal Canadiens' young prospect Vinzenz Rohrer.
Well in the last few minutes, we've received some great news about Rohrer's health.
A big development:
"Vinzenz Rohrer underwent a series of evaluations and tests at the hospital and was released Wednesday night. He is in good spirits and is now resting at home. He will be out indefinitely." - Ottawa 67's
The excellent reporter JF Plante adds this:
"Hospital leave for Austrian Vinzenz Rohrer who was lucky enough to have his mother visiting Ottawa to be by his side. Indeterminate absence."
We are extremely happy to hear this, especially after seeing the frightening images yesterday.
It's pretty amazing how quickly he's gotten better, we love it. Recall that he was only able to move one hand when he left the rink.
We are thinking of you, Vinzenz!
Rohrer, 18, is a third round pick of the Montreal Canadiens in 2022. He has 33 points in 27 games this season in the OHL. He scored the first goal of tonight's game.
More details will follow.
