Shea Weber has left a great legacy with the Nashville Predators. He has established his culture and leadership within the country city's team over the years.
The current captain of the Predators, Roman Josi, was one of Shea Weber's protégés during his time in Nashville. With the number 6, among other things, the Swiss defenseman has established himself as one of the best defensemen in the NHL, just as Shea Weber was before.
Josi just tied a small team record that was held by his former captain of reaching the 25 point plateau in a very low number of games, 26. Weber had 25 points in his first 26 games in 2008-2009.
Josi really doesn't have the same style of play as his former teacher, though it's not embarrassing to say that number 59 is one of the most complete defensemen of his generation. Quite a hockey player and a great captain. He siphoned off everything Weber passed on to him well.
