In the last few weeks, there has been a lot of personnel changes in the National Hockey League.
Signings, departures and trades... and all of this has really allowed Chantal Machabée and her communications team to shine.
Clearly, the CH stood out from other organizations on one point.
While most organizations don't announce the departure of their players (or almost), Montreal does it brilliantly, and we saw it again very clearly yesterday with the announcement of the departure of two other players: Jeff Petry and Ryan Poehling.
Poehling:
"Thanks to Ryan for his hard work and unforgettable first game in the NHL. We wish him the best of luck in Pittsburgh!" - Montreal Canadiens
Petry:
"Thanks to Jeff for his eight solid years on the blue line, his involvement in the community and the lovely times with Boyd." - Montreal Canadiens
And it all came with a very nice emotional video, wow!
Let's also mention, in closing, that these messages (and the video) were published literally minutes after the official announcement.
Great class! Great job!
