It is now official, Nick Suzuki will represent the Montreal Canadiens at the NHL All Star Game in Vegas. So Chris Wideman is not going to be there, which makes perfect sense. Although his presence would have been more «logical» than the one of John Scott once.
Suzuki will be joined by Patrice Bergeron, Rasmus Dahlin, Dylan Larkin, Jonathan Huberdeau, Drake Batherson, Andrei Vasilevskiy, Victor Hedman, Jake Campbell and Auston Matthews.
Some old-timers like Alex Ovechkin, Claude Giroux, Joe Pavelski, Jordan Eberle and Alex Pietrangelo find themselves there. Note that Cale Makar will perform during this 3-on-3 show.
In short, Suzuki has the skills to be there, despite an offensive season below expectations.
