So the little war between the Montreal Canadiens and the Carolina Hurricanes will never end, which puts a nice flavor on social media.
That said, does everyone remember that the Canes gave a $20 signing bonus to Jesperi Kotkaniemi when he was hired? The $20 was a nod to the Canadiens, since it refers to Sebastian Aho's number.
Anyway, this all leads me to Nick Suzuki's bonus of $4,000,014, referring to his own number, while sending a little "jab" to the Canes... who might have tried to get their hands on Nick Suzuki next summer if the Habs hadn't extended his deal quickly.
After the story of the numbers in the bonuses, what will be the next wink from one or the other of these two teams? It's fun for us, the fans!
