Yesterday, the Montreal Canadiens organization caused a surprise by sending young defenseman Arber Xhekaj to the American Hockey League, but then we learned that it was only a temporary administrative procedure.
In the last few seconds, the CH announced this:
"The Canadiens have placed Paul Byron on the injured list and recalled Arber Xhekaj from the Laval Rocket." - Montreal Canadiens
So it's confirmed for Xhekaj, but in Byron's case, how sad. He's a real warrior, he's consistently made the pundits lie, but this time it's going to be really hard for him to come back.
We wish him all the best though!
More details will follow!
