In the last few seconds, the Montreal Canadiens organization has just unveiled its lineup (trios and duos) for tonight's game against the New Jersey Devils.

See the result:

Simoneau-Mesar-Condotta
Heineman-Beck-Kidney
Guindon-Stapley-Dubé
Francis-Davidson-Parker Jones

Norlinder-Harris
Fairbrother-Centorame
Trudeau-Tourigny

Mercer

We note that there will be several important absentees, including Juraj Slafkovsky, Jan Mysak, Justin Barron, Arber Xhekaj and, obviously, Kaiden Guhle.

These are obviously a few disappointments for fans, especially in the case of Slafkovsky, who was talking (yesterday) like a guy who was going to face the Devils tonight.

In the end, he will be left out.

"The Canadiens are coming off a 4-3 loss to the Sabres' prospects on Thursday night. Heineman, Mesar and Beck scored for Montreal.

All games in Buffalo will be streamed live on canadiens.com.

Sébastien Goulet will provide the French description of the game. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET." - Montreal Canadiens
