It's rare that we see that, but the Montreal Canadiens being an organization closely monitored and analyzed, someone was gonna find out.
And it happened. The Habs secretly recalled a Laval Rocket player, this weekend, without announcing it publicly.
It's not a disaster, but hey, know that Louie Belpedio is now with the Canadians. Oh yes, a defenseman who is subtly recalled, less than a week before the NHL trade deadline. You guess that it makes a lot of talk and speculation.
Greetings to the voice of the Laval Rocket, Anthony Marcotte, who made sure to share this news with fans.
We can also see him (Belpedio) with the club on this video, right here:
The 25-year-old right-handed defenseman has 22 points, including eight goals, in 49 games this year in Laval.
He played four career NHL games.
