At the time of writing, the entire sports world is still holding its breath for Damar Hamlin and his loved ones. We hope to hear some positive news soon!
The Buffalo Bills player is still in critical condition following the horrific scene we unfortunately witnessed live during Monday night's game in Cincinnati.
See the latest news we have:
"Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest after contact received in our game against the Bengals. His heart rate was restored on the field and he was transferred to UC Medical Center for further testing and treatment. He is currently under sedation and is in critical condition."
- Buffalo Bills
Sports teams around the world have reacted to this sad scene, and that includes the Montreal Canadiens organization.
In fact, the Canadiens were the very first NHL team to issue a short official statement:
"Our thoughts are with Damar Hamlin, his family and our friends in Buffalo. The entire sports world is behind you during this difficult time." - Montreal Canadiens
Hats off to the CH organization for this gesture! It shows once again how classy this organization is.
We join the Montreal Canadiens hockey club in saying that our heartfelt thoughts are with young Hamlin and his loved ones.
