The Sharks' Jumbotron appeared to post a message with hidden meaning during Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks at SAP Center. During the second intermission, their giant screen displayed a message that read:

Fans Unite! Celebrate! Keep The Hockey Energy Kicking! Now Imbibe Generously, Honor The Sharks!

You have to take the first few letters of each word in order to understand its unflattering meaning, which is, "F-k the Knights."

The Sharks and Vegas Golden Knights have been rivals since Vegas entered the NHL prior to the 2017-18 season. While the Sharks have long been eliminated from the playoffs in this rebuilding year for them, the Knights are fighting for a spot in the spring tournament.

That all came to a head on Sunday when the Sharks broke Vegas' back and upset the Knights 5-4 in a shootout, overcoming a two-goal deficit late in the third period. Timo Meier tied the game with less than a second to play.

Rookie Thomas Bordeleau then came full circle for the Sharks in the shootout with an unstoppable feed.

After losing to the Sharks on Sunday, then losing again in a shootout to the Dallas Stars on Tuesday, the Knights are now on the verge of being eliminated from the playoffs.
