With youngsters like Jordan Harris, Kaiden Guhle, Justin Barron, Logan Mailloux, Alex Romanov, Mattias Norlinder and others, it's going to be great to see in a few years.
On the other hand, a name that is regularly forgotten is that of Arber Xhekaj.
A young man who is also very promising, for a very specific role. He recently mentioned that he wanted to be the next Ben Chiarot, and according to many experts, his goal is attainable.
He is physical, solid in his zone, and is also discovering a more offensive side.
Xhekaj has made the playoffs so far with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the Ontario Hockey League:
Four goals and three assists, in eight games, as well as ranking first in differential (+11).
On Friday night, he was particularly outstanding, with a goal and an assist (second star of the game), to give his team a strong hand at a really important time.
A name to remember!
Xhekaj, 6 feet 4 and 204 pounds, could very well play a few games with the Tricolore next season, and he could be useful for the Laval Rocket, despite his young age.
