In the last few hours, several journalists and sources have reported a rather unexpected information, as Patrick Roy was at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard yesterday, along with the Montreal Canadiens.

It was confirmed at the end of the day.

It was tempting to speculate on the subject, but we remained cautious, knowing that other information would come out on the subject.

Well, Renaud Lavoie has some news:

"Patrick Roy was indeed at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard yesterday for a courtesy call. Alumni of the organization are invited to meet players and members of the organization and Patrick Roy also spent time with Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes."

- Renaud Lavoie, TVA Sports

Interesting! So Lavoie just confirmed that Roy spent time with Gorton and Hughes, in person. It's nice to see them together, and it will be interesting to see if there is a follow-up to this.

He came to visit the CH, in Brossard, for a courtesy call as well as to spend time with Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton.

Without saying that Patrick Roy is on the verge of a major position within the CH organization, it is not impossible that he will eventually be given a role, as a goalie coach or as a special advisor, especially since everything indicates that he is in his last season behind the bench of the Quebec Remparts.

We don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves, but simply mention that it's very positive to see all these people talking to each other, and the Montreal Canadiens could certainly benefit from the experience and expertise of an enthusiast like Patrick Roy.

To be continued!
