In the last few minutes, we've had some new information on the Montreal Canadiens lineup for tonight's game against the St. Louis Blues, and basically, there are no notable changes.
The rumors that were circulating yesterday were true, as the verdict just came in for forward Mike Hoffman. He is effectively scratched for a second straight game. Still!
Hoffman will not have the opportunity to face his former teammates.
Remember that Martin St-Louis recently mentioned in a press conference that he wants Hoffman to be more involved and give a more consistent effort.
"Mike Hoffman, Justin Barron out vs St.Louis Blues" - Renaud Lavoie, TVA Sports Do you like these decisions? As for Barron, it makes you wonder if a return with the Laval Rocket is imminent.
Check out the defensemen trios and duos:
Caufield - Suzuki - Dach
Slafkovsky - Dvorak - Anderson
Dadonov - Evans - Armia
Pezzetta - Drouin - Richard
Defensemen:
Edmundson - Savard
Harris - Kovacevic
Xhekaj - Wideman
This promises to be a good one!
"Martin St. Louis will likely use the same lineup tonight against the Blues. Left out on Thursday, Mike Hoffman and Justin Barron are getting extra time on the ice this morning." - Luc Gélinas, RDS
St. Louis has just officially confirmed the whole thing. More details will follow.
