Despite missing yesterday's practice to undergo treatment, and despite the fact that he suddenly left his team's morning practice (after chatting with the trainers), Sean Monahan has just confirmed that he will be in tonight's game.
A good news!
However, keep in mind that he's clearly not 100% so it's possible that his performance will suffer a bit, but just the fact that he's playing is remarkable.
Remember of course that this will be a very special night for Monahan.
The verdict is in.
"Monahan says he's playing (tonight)." - Eric Engels, Sportsnet
Monahan, 28, has 14 points in 22 games this season with the Montreal Canadiens. He's playing excellent hockey.
