According to Sportsnet tipster Jeff Marek, Montreal Canadiens forward prospect Owen Beck will be traded to the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
The Mississauga Steelheads will be trading Beck.
Beck, 18, drafted 33rd overall by the CH in 2022, has 40 points in 30 games this season.
Does this eliminate the Petes from the Shane Wright derby? Most likely!
