While the Habs are currently on the road, general manager Kent Hughes continues to look at the missing pieces of his team and as we know, there are certain players that are always likely to be traded at any time.

By the way, as reported by the Habsolumentfan.com, The Athletic and TSN reporter Pierre LeBrun mentioned that Hughes would be getting a lot of calls about forward Josh Anderson and defenseman Joel Edmundson.

For the past few weeks, the number 44 has been linked to the Edmonton Oilers and GM Ken Holland is very interested in acquiring him.

As for Anderson, LeBrun also stated that he would be the Habs' player who attracts the most interest in the NHL. However, still according to the informer, Kent Hughes would not, for the moment, try to store his two players but if ever an interesting offer came on the table, he would certainly listen.

It must be said that even if the two Canadiens players are in demand, we can't say that they are having a great season. Anderson has only 12 points, including nine goals so far this season. Edmundson has only five points in 25 games with a -7 rating.

Still, they are probably the best value players on the market right now and knowing Kent Hughes, he'll want to get the most in return or it's likely that both will still be in Montreal after March 3rd.
