With Jeff Gorton coming to Montreal, he may be making some changes to his roster. With the Habs' disgusting season, a few veterans could be traded by the organization.
Two names in particular were targeted by Martin McGuire on 98.5 Sports, Joel Armia and Artturi Lehkonen. They are attracting attention across the league.
"Anyway, it ties in with what we're hearing because as we speak, there are two guys that are being watched closely by other teams; Artturi Lehkonen and Joel Armia, who the team that's visiting tonight, they've been following him the whole time the Habs have been on the road, they've been following him closely." - Martin McGuire
The team McGuire is referring to is the Colorado Avalanche, who are looking to add depth to their offense. With the playoff experience the two Finns gained last year, their names are becoming more and more interesting to other teams.
The intrigue is palpable when you think about what they could be worth. To be continued!
